This is a dessert very easy and quick to make. It is very fresh because it is made with kiwi and tasteful at the same time.
Sweet kiwi roll
- 120 g flour
- 3 eggs
- 80 g sugar
- 1 lemon
- 6 kiwis
- In a bowl, we beat the egg yolks with the sugar. We add then the flour. With a thin grater, we grind also the lemon peel. We mix them thoroughly. In another bowl, we beat strongly the egg whites, until we have a white foam. We add it in the other mixture. We stir carefully, until all the ingredients mixed completely with each other.
- We put the prepared mixture in a rectangular bakeware where we have laid baking paper. We arrange the mixture with a spoon, and the thickness of the mixture must be 1.5 cm. We put the bakeware in the oven and we bake it at 180 °C for 10 minutes.
- While the dessert is baking, we peel the kiwis and we put them in an electric slicer. We add the lemon juice and we grind them. We take the bakeware out of the oven and we let it cool for a while.
- After this, we add the minced kiwi on the dessert. On the next step, we start to close the dessert giving it the form of a roll. We let it cool in the fridge for about half an hour. After this time passes, we cut the dessert in pieces and we serve it.
